Essential Qualifications
- Engineering disciplines (Sl. 1-5): BE/BTech in relevant discipline in 1st Division with valid GATE qualification; OR ME/MTech in relevant discipline in 1st Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate level
- Science disciplines (Sl. 6-7): Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science pertaining to the subject in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification; OR ME/MTech in relevant discipline in 1st Division at both levels
- NET includes other relevant national level fellowships by Central Government Departments/Agencies
- Equivalent subjects/disciplines as per RAC, DRDO norms
- Foreign degree holders must obtain equivalence certificate from AIU, Delhi
Fellowship Terms
- Stipend: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month as admissible
- Duration: Initially 02 years (extendable as per rules)
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on date of walk-in interview; SC/ST/OBC relaxation as per GoI norms
- Panel operates for one year; empanelment does not guarantee Fellowship offer
- Fellowship does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO
How to Apply
Interested candidates must appear for Walk-in Interview on 10 October 2026 at 0930 hrs at Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya, NPOL Campus, Thrikkakara, Kochi. They are required to produce all certificates/testimonials/Community certificate/valid GATE/NET Score card in original along with a set of self-attested copies and an ID proof (Voter's ID/Aadhaar/PAN/Driving License) in original with one recent colour passport size photograph.
