Candidates must possess:
M.Sc., M.Tech. or an equivalent degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science or a related discipline
At least 55% marks from a recognised university
Valid NET or GATE qualification
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant research experience in:
Geomorphology and sedimentology
Remote sensing
Drone-based data acquisition and processing
Python-based image processing
Data analysis and report preparation
Research manuscript writing
Himalayan-region studies
First and Second Year: INR 37,000 per month plus HRA
Third Year as SRF: INR 42,000 per month plus HRA
The fellowship will be governed by ANRF and university rules.
The initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended for a further two years based on satisfactory performance.
The upper age limit is 30 years. Relaxation of up to five years will be applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and women candidates according to Government of India rules.
