- Post-Graduate degree (M.Pharm / M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biotechnology or a related field, or equivalent qualification with strong relevant experience
- Grade-1: 3 to 8 years post-qualification experience in drug R&D (discovery, pre-clinical, clinical and/or CMC) in industry, CRO, academia or government programmes
- Grade-2: 8 to 15 years post-qualification experience in the same areas
- Capability to appraise R&D proposals and define TRL-based milestones
- Knowledge of CDSCO / New Drugs & Clinical Trials Rules 2019, ethics committees, basics of GMP/QMS and biosimilar comparability
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Desirable: PhD, 6-8+ years experience, prior work with DBT/BIRAC/ICMR/CSIR or multilateral R&D funding programmes, literature and patent search tools
