DMRC – Chief Architect on Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) Basis

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Ltd., a Joint Venture of the Govt. of India and the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, invites applications for Chief Architect on Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) basis. Advt. No. DMRC/PERS/22/HR/2026 (236) dated 05/11/2026.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01/11/2026)

Pay scale / pay eligibility:

• Officers working in / retired from the CDA Pay scale at Level 14 (Rs. 144200–218200) as per 7th CPC, or a higher grade; OR
• Working in / retired from the IDA pay scale of Rs. 120000–280000/-, or a higher grade, in any Govt. Organisations / Railways / Metro Organizations / CPWD / PSUs, including services put in on deputation, with a total of 18 (eighteen) years’ service at the Gazetted / Executive level in those organisations.

Other conditions:

• Candidates should have varied experience of working in the Architecture department in Govt. Organisations / Railways / Metro Organizations / CPWD / PSUs, and should be conversant with functioning in a computerized environment; hands-on knowledge of various computer applications relating to the job would be desirable.
• Candidates should be free from D&AR and Vigilance angle.
• Candidates who are in regular service in such organisations at present are also eligible, provided they opt for retirement from service through VRS or otherwise before joining DMRC.
• Candidates must be working in / retired from the functional grade on a regular basis; MACP benefits etc. would not be considered.

Job Description

The incumbent shall be responsible for all Architectural works pertaining to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.

Job Location

The selected candidate shall be liable to be posted / transferred to any of the offices / Project sites under the control of the Corporation in India or abroad.

Pay and Emoluments

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,82,500/- per month, based on the corresponding retired substantive grade and other benefits as per company policy.
• The consolidated fees for those who retire from a higher grade shall be restricted to the fees prescribed in the advertisement for the post in which they are engaged in DMRC.
• The remuneration shall be based on the last substantive grade, subject to a maximum amount as indicated above.

Screening Process

• The screening methodology for candidates applying on PRCE basis shall comprise Personal Interview and Medical fitness examination.
• The Medical Examination shall be in the Executive / Technical category; details are available on the DMRC website.
• The selection process will judge different facets of knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude and physical fitness. Candidates who fail in the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment, and the decision of the Corporation shall be final.

Schedule of Selection

• Last date of receipt of duly filled-in application (along with relevant documents) through Speed Post or email: 26.11.2026. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date shall be summarily rejected.
• Shortlisted candidates list to be uploaded on the DMRC website in the first week of December 2026 (tentative); screening in the second week of December 2026, offline/online (tentative).
• Final result by the third week of December 2026 (tentative).
• No separate communication by post will be sent to candidates individually; candidates must regularly check the DMRC website.

• Eligible and willing candidates may apply in the application format at Annexure-I, enclosing all relevant documents in support of qualification, experience, pay and pay scale.
• Candidates presently employed in Govt. Organisations / Railways / Metro Organizations / CPWD / PSUs should send their application through proper channel along with Vigilance and D&AR clearance in the pro-forma at Annexure-II. Those not working shall also have to submit Vigilance and D&AR clearance in the same pro-forma.
• Applications received through proper channel (i.e. forwarded by the Cadre Controlling Authority of the parent organisation) till the last date shall only be entertained. Under no circumstances shall Advance Copies be entertained.
• Send the duly filled-in application, in an envelope super-scribing the Name of Post prominently, latest by 26.11.2026, through Speed Post to:
