DLSA Sangli Contractual Driver Recruitment 2026 – 1 Post (Apply by 12.08.2026)

District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Sangli, District Court Campus, Vijayanagar, Sangli – 416416 (Maharashtra) invites applications for the post of Contractual Driver (वाहनचालक) on a temporary / contractual basis for a period of 11 months, per the advertisement dated 06.08.2026.

Post Details

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: Minimum 7th standard pass.
• Driving Licence: Valid and effective Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) licence as per Motor Vehicles Act (No. 59/1988) as on the date of publication of the advertisement.
• Medical Fitness: Medical fitness certificate from an authorized officer.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in driving four-wheeler vehicles (certificate required) and knowledge of minor vehicle repairs.
• Age (as on date of advt. publication): Not less than 25 years and not more than 35 years.
• Language: Knowledge of Marathi language is required.

Terms & Conditions

• The post is purely temporary and contractual for only 11 months; no claim for regularization.
• Selected candidate has to execute an agreement with the Authority.
• If the candidate wishes to leave before completion, two months' notice / amount as decided by the Authority must be paid.
• No application fee is charged.

Selection

• Driving test conducted by Regional Transport Officer (RTO).
• Interview by the selection committee.

3. Clearly superscribe "For the post of Contractual Driver" on the application / postal envelope, failing which the application will be treated as incomplete.
4. Attach self-attested copies of educational qualification, driving licence, experience certificate, character certificate from a reputed person, and a self-declaration that no criminal case is pending.
5. Applications received after 12.08.2026 (05:00 PM) will not be considered.
