Office of the District Legal Services Authority, Palamau at Daltonganj, Jharkhand, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of one (01) Driver for the MUV Mahindra Bolero vehicle of the District Legal Services Authority, Palamau, to be appointed on a purely temporary and contractual basis. Public Notice issued under Letter No. 2398/26 dated 22.10.2026 (in pursuance of JHALSA Letter No. 1695 dated 30.03.2026).

Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must have passed the Matriculation (10th) examination.

- Must have adequate driving experience.
- Must be of good character and physically fit to perform the work.
- Age – minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on the date of application.
Terms and conditions
- The engagement is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
- The selected person will be paid daily wage as fixed by the State Government from time to time, along with Rs.100/- per day as food allowance.
- The engagement shall not confer any right to regularisation, permanent appointment or continuity of service under any circumstances.
- The contractual engagement shall initially be for 01 to 11 months (maximum), which may be extended on satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the District Legal Services Authority, Palamau.
- The District Legal Services Authority, Palamau may terminate the service at any time without assigning any reason.
- The engaged driver shall perform the duties assigned by the District Legal Services Authority, Palamau, including the safe operation and maintenance of the vehicle.
