DLSA Kokrajhar Para Legal Volunteer (PLV) Engagement 2026 (Advt. No. 01 of 2026)

Applications in Standard Form are invited for engagement of 15 (fifteen) Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) under the District Legal Services Authority, Kokrajhar (First Floor, District & Sessions Judge Court Building, Kokrajhar). Attach two recent passport-size photographs and self-attested copies of testimonials for age, residence, educational qualification, caste and past work experience (if any).

Eligibility

• Nationality/Residence: Citizen of India and local resident of Kokrajhar district.
• Age: Must have attained the age of majority.
• Qualification: Minimum matriculation pass.
• Eligible groups (NALSA PLV Scheme): teachers (incl. retired), retired Govt. servants & senior citizens, MSW students/teachers, anganwadi workers, doctors/physicians, students & law students (till enrolment), members of non-political service NGOs/clubs, women neighbourhood groups/SHGs incl. marginalised groups, educated prisoners of good behaviour in long-term sentences, or any other person the DLSA deems fit.
• Terms: No salary/remuneration — honorarium only as fixed by NALSA/Assam SLSA from time to time; engagement terminable any time without reason if found unsuitable.

Submit the filled application to the office of the DLSA, Kokrajhar on or before 15.10.2026 (till 5 PM), mentioning your mobile number. Applications may also go by post/courier at your own risk for postal delay. Incomplete or late applications rejected; Selection Committee decisions (shortlisting/selection/objections) final. Interview list appears only on the Kokrajhar District Judiciary website — no separate call letter, no TA/DA. Canvassing disqualifies.
