- Education: Secondary examination passed with good knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script
- Eligible groups: Teachers (including retired); retired Government servants and senior citizens; MSW students and teachers; Anganwadi workers; Doctors/Physicians; Students and law students (till they enrol as lawyers); members of non-political service-oriented NGOs and Clubs; members of Neighbourhood Groups, Maithri Sanghams and other Self-Help Groups; educated persons with good behaviour serving long-term sentences in prisons; Transgender persons

District Legal Services Authority, Amroha (DLSA Amroha) invites applications for selection and nomination as Para-Legal Volunteer (PLV) at the District Headquarters and Tehsil level, under the NALSA Scheme for Para-Legal Volunteers (Revised) and the orientation/refresher module, per Letter No. 719/2026 dated 12/09/2026, on the directions of the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi and the U.P. State Legal Services Authority, Lucknow under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.

Role: Provide free legal information/legal advice to the poor, needy, helpless, disabled, workers/labourers and illiterate persons, and participate in legal literacy programmes organised by the District Authority and Tehsil Legal Services Committees.
