- Only RCCC-trained candidates: must have completed the 6-month Recorders Certificate Class Course at Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre and passed both Survey and Settlement subjects before Govt. notification of 13/08/2026.
- Pay: PB-2 Rs.14,000–70,000 + GP Rs.6,200 + usual allowances.

Eligibility
- RCCC Training pass (Survey + Settlement) from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40, before 13/08/2026.
- Computer proficiency: minimum typing speed 30 WPM English + 15 WPM Assamese/Bengali.
- Age 21–40 years as on 01-01-2026; relaxation per OM ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02/09/2020.
- Age proof via Class-X/XII admit card, pass certificate or marksheet showing DoB.
- Serving Central/State Govt. staff must apply through proper channel + NOC at document verification.
Selection
- Written exam (Paper-I, 80 marks, MCQ): Mathematics Class-X standard (10) + Conventional Survey (50) + Modern Survey (20); negative marking 0.25 per wrong answer.
- Skill test (Paper-II, 20 marks): practical computer proficiency — English and Assamese/Bengali typing.
- Qualifying marks: UR — 40 written + 10 skill; OBC/MOBC/STP/STH/SC/PwD — 32 written + 8 skill.
- Final merit on written + skill aggregate with DV; category-wise reservation applies.
- Documents for verification: online form printout, age proof, all marksheets from HSLC, RCCC certificate, caste certificate, PH certificate, NOC, Small Family Norms Declaration Form-A.
- Candidature provisional — forged/false claims cancelled + penal action under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
