District Panchayat Surajpur Gram Panchayat Secretary Recruitment 2026 – 10 Posts | Apply Online 16 Oct to 3 Nov

The Office of the Zila Panchayat, Surajpur (Chhattisgarh) has issued Advertisement No. 1218 & 1219/जि.पं./पंचा./स्था./2026-27 dated 15.10.2026 inviting online applications from permanent residents of Surajpur district for appointment to 10 newly created posts of Gram Panchayat Secretary. Applications can be submitted online from 16.10.2026 (10:00 AM) to 03.11.2026 (11:59 PM).

Vacancy Details (10 posts)

No post is reserved for ex-servicemen or persons with disabilities in this advertisement. Reservation and age relaxation for ex-servicemen, persons with disabilities, SC/ST/OBC and women will be as per orders issued from time to time by the General Administration Department, Chhattisgarh. The number of posts may be increased or decreased.

Educational Qualification

• Minimum Higher Secondary (12th) pass from a recognised board; and
• One-year Diploma in Data Entry Operator / Programming from an institute recognised by the Government.

Domicile

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Surajpur district; only a certificate issued by the competent authority is valid, and the residence certificate is mandatory at the time of application.

Age Limit

Minimum 18 years (completed) and maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2026. SC/ST/OBC, persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen and women candidates are eligible for age relaxation as notified by the State Government.

Pay & Service Conditions

• Pay scale ₹3500–11000 with Grade Pay ₹1100, plus dearness allowance and other allowances as admissible.
• The selected Gram Panchayat Secretary is appointed on probation for 3 years, which may be extended up to 5 years; if the service is not found satisfactory, it may be terminated by the appointing authority.
• Governed by the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Service (Conduct) Rules 1998 and the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 1999.

Selection Process (Merit — total 100)

• (a) Higher Secondary marks — 50 per cent weightage
• (b) Higher educational qualification — maximum 10 marks (Graduation 05 + Post-Graduation 05)
• (c) Computer skill test marks — 25 per cent weightage
• (d) Experience of working on the post of Rozgar Sahayak — 15 marks (03 marks per completed year, maximum 05 years; one year means minimum 09 months of work experience)

On the basis of merit, 10 candidates per post will be called for the computer skill test, which comprises 15 minutes of English typing and 15 minutes of Hindi typing.

How to Apply

• Applications are accepted online only at surajpur.gov.in from 16.10.2026, 10:00 AM to 03.11.2026, 11:59 PM. Applications received through any other mode will not be considered.
• Fill the application in the prescribed format given on the website and attach self-attested copies of all educational / experience certificates and other records.
• Documents required: 10th, 12th, Graduation and Post-Graduation marksheets, one-year Data Entry Operator / Programming diploma, domicile certificate, permanent caste certificate, non-creamy layer income certificate (issued within the last 3 years, in the name of the applicant's parent), certificate in the prescribed format, experience certificate and appointment letter of the Rozgar Sahayak post with salary calculation sheet, and affidavit if any criminal case is pending.
• Incomplete applications, or those without enclosures / documents, will be treated as rejected.

Important Notes

• Previously appointed employees dismissed on any charge are ineligible; any pending criminal case must be disclosed by the candidate in the affidavit submitted with the application.
• Only experience certificates issued by the CEO, Zila Panchayat and CEO, Janpad Panchayat are valid for Rozgar Sahayak experience.
• Updates regarding the selection process will be available on the notice board of the Zila Panchayat / Janpad Panchayat office and on surajpur.gov.in.
