District & Sessions Judge, Gurdaspur – Lift Operator (Contract) Recruitment 2026

Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Gurdaspur (Punjab) invites applications, on the prescribed proforma along with self-attested copies of relevant testimonials (proof of qualification, date of birth, category and two passport-size photographs, one to be pasted on the upper right corner of the application), for filling up 04 (four) posts of Lift Operator at the Judicial Court Complex, District Headquarters Gurdaspur and the Judicial Court Complex, Sub-Division Batala, purely on contract basis at the rates fixed by the Deputy Commissioner, Gurdaspur, from time to time, under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 for the financial year 2026-27.

Pay

As per the rates fixed by the Deputy Commissioner, Gurdaspur, from time to time under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Financial Year 2026-27).

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th) from a recognised board or equivalent, and five (5) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of lifts, preferably in a Government or Semi-Government Department.
• Age: 18 to 37 years as on 01.01.2026. Relaxation of age as per Punjab Government norms is admissible.
