- B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc in Electronics/ECE/Physics/Applied Physics/Optics/Photonics with first division and NET/GATE, OR M.E./M.Tech with first division
- SRF: minimum 2 years research/teaching/industrial experience
- JRF: first division with NET/GATE (or M.E./M.Tech)
- Age as on 04.11.2026: SRF 32, JRF 28; relaxation 5 years for SC/ST/Women/PwBD, 3 years for OBC-NCL
- Bring originals and attested copies; NOC for government employees
