- Indian nationals; upper age limit 35 years as on 30 October 2026 (the crucial date for age)
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, women and PwBD candidates and by 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates
- Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer
