DHAS Junior Resident (Dental) Recruitment 2026
Dr. Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan (DHAS), Karkardooma, Delhi (Govt. of NCT of Delhi) invites applications in the prescribed format to fill up the vacant post of Junior Resident (Dental) on ad-hoc basis for a period of 89 days under the residency scheme.

Eligibility
- BDS degree from a recognized university/institution with valid Registration Certificate from any State Dental Council (must register with Delhi Dental Council if selected).
- Must have completed compulsory rotatory internship after 03.09.2024.
- Age (as on written exam date): 30 years for UR; relaxation 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 5 years extra for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan).
Examination Scheme
200 Multiple Choice Questions (60 Minutes) on General Dentistry. Negative marking applicable – 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
Mode of Selection
Selection through written exam. In case of tie, higher marks in final year BDS exam will be given preference, followed by higher age.
Tenure
Maximum tenure of Junior Resident (Dental) is one year only (including any earlier service as Junior Resident). Appointment initially for 89 days, extendable up to a maximum of 1 year (with 01 day break after every 89 days) subject to satisfactory work, or till the regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier.
How to Apply
- Report at the Conference Hall, 1st Floor, Administrative Block, DHAS Hospital on the date of registration (31 August 2026) between 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM with the duly filled application form, self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials, and 01 passport-size photograph.
- Bring all original certificates for verification. No registration will be done after 11:30 AM.
- The list of eligible candidates will be uploaded on health.delhi.gov.in before 03.09.2026.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Written Exam. Appointment subject to medical fitness and verification of certificates.
