- BLIS or two-year Diploma in Library and Information Science from a recognised university/institute on a regular basis
- Fresh pass-outs who completed the course in 2022 or later
- Candidates who passed earlier than 2022, or who previously trained/worked at NML, are not eligible
- Computer and library software knowledge desirable
- 12-month training; consolidated stipend Rs.9,000 per month

- Only fresh pass-outs who completed the course in 2022 or later are eligible
