DEPwD Director Eligibility Criteria 2026
- For deputation: officers under Central/State Government, Universities, Public Sector Undertakings, autonomous or statutory organizations
- Drawing pay in Level 13 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix or equivalent grade with minimum 5 years' experience in research or rehabilitation or administration, preferably in the field of disability; OR
- With 5 years' regular service in any grade drawing salary in Level 12 of the Pay Matrix and 5 years' experience in research or rehabilitation or administration; OR
- With 8 years' regular service in any grade drawing salary in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix and 5 years' experience in research or rehabilitation or administration
- For contract: 15 years' experience of research or rehabilitation or administration in a Government/registered non-Government entity/organization/company, preferably in the field of disability
- Contract applicants should be drawing a minimum CTC of ₹6,00,000 per annum for the last five years
- Maximum age 56 years as on the closing date; only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed

- Post Graduate Degree in any discipline, preferably in Special Education or Rehabilitation, from a recognized university/institution with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
- Desirable: Ph.D. in any discipline
- Deputation: pay in Level 13 with 5 years' experience, or 5 years' regular service in Level 12 with 5 years' experience, or 8 years' regular service in Level 11 with 5 years' experience in research/rehabilitation/administration
