The District Educational Officer (DEO), Chittoor has issued proceedings (Rc.No: 1901/B4/2026, dated 14.08.2026) for the engagement of 249 Academic Instructors – School Assistants (SA) and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) – in Govt/ZPP/MPP/Municipality and Municipal Corporation Schools across Chittoor District for the academic year 2026-27. The engagement is purely temporary for a period of 8 months (1st September 2026 to 30th April 2027).

Eligibility & Preference
- Preference to candidates who are natives of the village/Mandal and to TET-qualified candidates.
- Where a TET-qualified candidate is not available, a candidate with the requisite Academic and Professional Qualification will be considered.
