About the Position
The selected candidate will join an international and multidisciplinary research team studying the social dimensions of climate change and energy transition. The role involves planning and conducting ethnographic fieldwork, analysing qualitative data and translating research findings into academic publications, creative outputs and practical policy frameworks. Key Responsibilities
Plan and undertake ethnographic fieldwork.
Conduct interviews, participant observation and qualitative analysis.
Prepare high-quality research publications and policy outputs.
Collaborate with universities, industry partners and regional communities.
Develop interdisciplinary research partnerships.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
A PhD in Anthropology, Geography or a relevant discipline.
An emerging research profile supported by academic publications.
Experience in ethnographic or qualitative research.
Experience conducting interviews, fieldwork and participant observation.
Research experience related to climate change, decarbonisation, energy transition, environmental management or associated social and environmental issues.
