- General Manager, CTTC Kolkata: degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent; 15 years experience in production or training in a tool room or reputed engineering industry, of which 10 years in a responsible technology or management position
- Principal Director, FFDC Kannauj: Post Graduate degree in Chemistry, Botany or Agronomy, or degree in Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering; 15 years experience in a responsible position in an industrial establishment, technical or R&D organisation dealing with fine chemicals, phyto-chemicals, aroma chemicals or fragrances
- Principal Director, CDGI Firozabad: degree in Ceramic, Silicate or Glass Technology with glass as a main subject; 15 years experience in production or research in a glass or ceramic industry or R&D organisation
- General Manager, CTTC Bhubaneswar: degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent; 15 years experience in production or training in a tool room or reputed engineering industry

The Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME) invites applications from citizens of India for the posts of Chief Executive Officers in seven autonomous bodies under the Ministry, on contract basis for five years initially, extendable till superannuation subject to review of performance.
- 7 posts - one each at CTTC Kolkata, FFDC Kannauj, CDGI Firozabad, CTTC Bhubaneswar, CIHT Jalandhar, CTR Ludhiana and CFTI Agra
- Contract: 5 years initially, extendable based on performance review till the age of superannuation
- Pay levels: Level-13A for CTTC Kolkata, CTTC Bhubaneswar, CIHT Jalandhar and CTR Ludhiana; Level-13 for FFDC Kannauj and CDGI Firozabad; Level-12 for CFTI Agra
- Entry pay: Rs.1,31,100 (Level-13A), Rs.1,23,100 (Level-13) and Rs.78,800 (Level-12), plus DA, TA and HRA as per norms
- Age limit: 50 years for six posts and 45 years for CFTI Agra, with relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, ex-servicemen and departmental candidates as per rules
- Essential experience: generally 15 years in production or training in a tool room or reputed engineering industry, of which 10 years in a responsible technology or management position; CFTI Agra requires 7 years (or 12 years with a diploma)
