The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman District, Mayabunder invites applications from eligible candidates for 19 posts of Programme Officer, Assistant Engineer, Data Entry Operator and Gram Rozgar Sewak under the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin) [VB-G RAM G] purely on contractual basis.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

1. Programme Officer (PO)

Essential Qualification: MBA / MSW / BE / B.Sc. (Agriculture) / Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or any other equivalent degree + Diploma in Rural Development + Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application + Two years of relevant experience.

2. Assistant Engineer (AE)

Essential Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Desirable: Degree in Civil Engineering.

3. Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Essential Qualification: XII Pass from a recognized Board + Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application from a recognized Institution + Knowledge of Office Applications + Data Entry Speed of minimum 8,000 key depressions per hour (KDPH).

4. Gram Rozgar Sewak (GRS)

Essential Qualification: XII Pass from a recognized Board + Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application from a recognized Institution.

Desirable: Graduate with Computer Knowledge + One year of relevant experience.

Selection Process

The selection shall be based on Educational Merit, Desirable Qualification, Computer Qualification, Relevant Experience and Personal Interview. Marks are awarded as per the prescribed selection criteria for each post. Skill Test / Computer Test and Personal Interview shall be conducted by the Selection Committee.
