CWC Upper Division Clerk Deputation 2026 – 13 UDC Posts

Central Water Commission (CWC), Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, invites applications for 13 posts of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) in Level-4 of the pay matrix on deputation basis in its subordinate offices located across India.

• Total vacancies: 13 – under BOBO Shillong 3, CSRO Coimbatore 5, M&ERO Bhubaneswar 2, MSO Bengaluru 1, NBO Bhopal 1 and MTBO Gandhinagar 1 (Annexure-I)
• Pay: Level-4 in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC; pay of selected officers regulated under DoPT OM No.2/29/91-Estt.PC (II) dated 05.01.1994
• Eligibility: officers of the Central Government or State Government holding an analogous post on regular basis, or with eight years' regular service in the grade of Lower Division Clerk in Level-2 of the pay matrix
• Age: maximum 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application
• Period of deputation, including any immediately preceding ex-cadre deputation, shall ordinarily not exceed three years
• Officials of the Ministerial and Non-Ministerial cadre of CWC subordinate offices are not eligible to apply
• Candidates must indicate three choices of posting in the bio-data; posting may be made anywhere within the region where CWC offices exist
• Applications in the prescribed proforma, along with up-to-date APAR dossier, Vigilance Clearance Certificate, Integrity Certificate and certificate of major/minor penalty if any, must be forwarded through the proper channel
