Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) invites applications from qualified candidates for appointment to the post of Technical Assistant Grade III (on contract) in the School of Environmental Studies, CUSAT (Ref. Ad.G2/CIS/T.S/2020 dated 27.07.2026).

Educational Qualifications & Experience

Masters Degree in Forensic Science with at least 55% marks and possessing a Bachelors Degree in Botany or Zoology/Life Science with two years experience.

Other Conditions

The Technical Assistant Grade III (on contract) in the School of Environmental Studies will be engaged from July to April with breaks during the vacation months of May-June. The initial period of appointment is one year, which may be extended to two years. Reservation Rules are applicable. The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Appointment, conditions of service, emoluments and other benefits shall be governed by KSR, KS&SSR, Act/Statutes/Ordinances and Syndicate Decisions of CUSAT as amended from time to time.

The signed hard copy of the application (with copies of documents to prove age, qualification etc.) should reach the Registrar, Administrative Office, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi-22 on or before 05.09.2026, with the superscription on the envelope "Application for the post of Technical Assistant Grade III on Contract basis in the School of Environmental Studies". Late and defective applications will summarily be rejected.

Application Fee

Rs. 950/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 195/- for SC/ST candidates, remitted online (Net banking or Credit/Debit cards). Payment by Cheque/DD will not be accepted.
