CSIR-Innovation Protection Unit (IPU), under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for contractual engagement under the project titled "Intellectual Property Management" (IPM002601).

About CSIR-IPU

Innovation Protection Unit (IPU) of CSIR Head Quarters is engaged in securing Intellectual Property for CSIR. Since inception, CSIR has filed more than 12,000 Patent Applications in India and 11,000 Patent Applications abroad including PCT, USA, Europe, China, Japan, Australia, Canada, South Africa, South Korea etc.

General Terms

• Nature: Purely temporary, time-bound, contractual engagement

• Initial Tenure: Up to 31st March 2027 (extendable up to 31st March 2031 based on project extension)

Essential Qualification

Masters / Integrated Masters in Mechanical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent; 4 years' experience in R&D in Industrial/Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations

Desirable Qualification

PGDIPR (Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights) or Patent Agent qualification
