Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Schedule A Company of the Government of India, invites online applications from Indian citizens for 03 Faculty posts on contract basis for the Marine Engineering Training Institute (METI), Kochi.

Eligibility
- Marine Chief Engineer: Degree in Mechanical Engineering + CoC as Marine Engineer Officer Class-I (MEO Class-I, unlimited HP); must have sailed as Chief Engineer on Indian/foreign-going ships. Desirable: VICT/TOTA (pre-Oct-2018, DGS institutes), teaching experience in DGS-approved institutes, gas-tanker sailing with DC endorsement.
- Master Mariner (FG): CoC as Master Mariner (Foreign Going) from DGMA; must have sailed as Master on foreign-going tanker ships (desirable: teaching experience as above).
- Electro Technical Officer: Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering; must have sailed as Electrical Officer on foreign-going ships (desirable: VICT/TOTA as above).
- Age: Not exceeding 65 years as on 01 October 2026.
- Fee: Rs.400/- (non-refundable + bank charges); SC/ST/PwBD exempted.
Selection Process
Shortlisting on eligibility followed by personal interview (100 marks) at CSL Kochi. Updates by e-mail and the CSL career page. No TA/DA.
