Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Company of the Government of India, invites online applications for the post of Assistant Manager (Safety) (E1 Grade) at CSL AN Ship Repair Unit (CANSRU), Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands (Notification Ref. CSL/P&A/RECTT/CANSRU PERMA/AM(SAFETY)/2026/2 dated 24.08.2026).

Qualifications
- Essential: Recognized Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology OR Degree in Physics or Chemistry OR Diploma in Engineering or Technology; AND Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by the State Government (Note: Industrial Safety requirement not mandatory for Degree holders in Safety Engineering or Technology).
- Experience: Degree holders: Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (2 years supervisory in factory + 1 year Industrial Safety in shipyard/factory/Govt). Diploma/Physics/Chemistry degree holders: Minimum 6 years (5 years supervisory + 1 year Industrial Safety).
- Desirable: Proficiency in computer applications (MS Project, MS Office), ERP/SAP experience, ISO 45001/14001 auditor certification, knowledge of Hindi, ship building/repair knowledge.
Selection Process
Objective type test (40 marks, 45 min), Descriptive type test (30 marks, 90 min), Group Discussion (10 marks), Personal Interview (20 marks).
