CSIR - Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (CSIR-TKDL) Unit, New Delhi, a constituent of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites eligible Indian Citizens for walk-in interview for engagement as Project Associate-I (Urban/Rural Planning) - 01 position under the project "The Importance of Traditional Wisdom: Environmental Consciousness in Vedic and other literature and its Relevance for Modern Climate Strategies (GAP-000001)".

Venue: CSIR-TKDL Unit, 14, Satsang Vihar Marg, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi - 110067. A panel of waitlisted candidates (in order of merit) will also be constituted for future vacancies, valid until project completion.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: Master's/Integrated Master's Degree in Planning/Civil/Architecture/Geography (with subject in Urban/Regional Planning or equivalent)/Heritage Management from a recognized University/equivalent; OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in Architecture/Planning/Civil from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in city planning/layout preparation/master plan development.
Job Description: To establish correlation between traditional knowledge and modern sciences/contemporary practices to mitigate arising environmental challenges.
Age Limit: 35 years (relaxable for reserved/statutory categories as per CSIR/GoI rules). Age calculated as on the date of interview.

Selection Process
