- Retired person from Central/State Government, Autonomous Body or PSU who served in the Scientific/Technical area.
- Ph.D. in Environmental Science from a recognized institute/university.
- At least 20 years of experience in leadership, research, training, science communication, Environmental Management, EIA, Mine Water Management, Climate Change, Laboratory Accreditation, Carbon Footprint Assessment, sustainable development in mining & mineral processing, ESG reporting, fly ash utilization, ecological restoration, carrying capacity studies, ISO certification and NABL accreditation.
- Retired from a post carrying Pay Level L-12 to L-13A or equivalent.
- Age: not above 64 years as on the walk-in date.

CSIR-IMMT Consultant Job Details & Overview
CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar will hold a walk-in interview at 11:00 AM on 04.11.2026 for engaging an eligible retired Government servant as Technical & Business Development (Scientific & Technical) Consultant on short-term contract (Advt. No. 04/2026 dated 21.10.2026).
Job: guide large-scale community outreach, environmental awareness, water quality and public health projects; EIA, mine water management, climate change, lab accreditation, carbon footprint, sustainable mining & mineral processing, ESG reporting, fly ash utilization, ecological restoration, carrying capacity studies; ISO/NABL guidance for water, environmental and biological laboratories.
Engagement: initially 6 months, extendable by 6 months on performance and need; maximum engagement age 65 years. Remuneration per Department of Expenditure OM dated 09.12.2020.
