CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar Apprentice Trainee Walk-in Interview 2026 – 41 Posts (Advt No. 03/2026)

CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR-IMMT), Bhubaneswar, a premier research Institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, will conduct a Walk-in-Interview at 10:30 AM on 18.08.2026 in the conference room at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar for engagement of students for undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 2025 for a period of 01 year.

Eligibility Criteria

• Engineering Graduate (BE/B.Tech): Degree in Engineering/Technology (regular, full-time) in relevant area from a recognized University/Institution. Must have completed graduation within the last 5 years.
• Non-Engineering Graduate (BA, BSc, B.Com, BCA): Passed graduation from any Govt. recognized Board/University. Must have completed graduation within the last 5 years.
• Diploma Engineering: Three-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology (regular, full-time) in relevant area from a recognized University/Institution. Must have completed diploma within the last 5 years.
• ITI Candidates: Passed ITI qualification in the relevant trade from any Govt. recognized Board.
• Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship training elsewhere are not eligible.
• Candidates must not have work experience of one year or more.

How to Apply

1. Candidates willing to attend the Walk-in-Interview must send a confirmation e-mail to recruitment.immt@csir.res.in about their participation latest by 11:00 AM on 17.08.2026.
2. All candidates must submit a duly filled application form (Annexure-I) at the time of reporting.
3. No candidates will be allowed after the reporting time.

Documents to Carry

• Self-attested photo copy of 10th Mark Sheet and Certificate
• Self-attested photo copy of +2 / B.Tech / B.A / B.Com / B.Sc. / BCA / Diploma / ITI Mark Sheet and Certificate
• Self-attested photo copy of Aadhaar Card
• Self-attested photo copy of Caste Certificate / Disability Certificate (if applicable)
• Self-attested photo copy of Bank Passbook
• Recent passport size colour photographs

Important Notes

• The stipend is payable as per the rates mentioned above. 50% of the stipend will be paid by the Establishment and the remaining 50% by the Government. However, 50% of the Government share (i.e., Rs.4,500/- for Graduates and Rs.4,000/- for Diploma candidates) will be paid at the old rate as per BOPT Letter No. BOPT/DT/2025-26 dated 15.09.2025.
• Vacancies are tentative and likely to be changed.
• Diploma/Engineering Graduate/Non-Engineering Graduate candidates are advised to register on NATS 2.0 Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in); ITI candidates must register on NAPS Portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
• Duration of training: one (01) year.
• Candidates must submit the original College Leaving Certificate (C.L.C.) at the time of joining.
• The engagement is purely temporary for one year only and not for regular employment.
• Selected candidates will have to make their own arrangement of stay; hostel accommodation may be provided as and when available.
