CSIR-IITR Lucknow invites online applications for purely temporary engagement as Project Research Scientist-II (01 post) under project GAP-477, "Targeting the HDAC1-CIP2A-PP2A signaling axis to overcome chemoresistance against standard therapy in non-small cell lung cancer" — development of animal models of cancer, NGS/transcriptomics, proteomics and CRISPR/Cas9 knockout cells.

Essential Qualification (any one track)
- Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology) or any allied subject, with three (03) years post-qualification experience in the relevant subjects.
- PhD in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology) or any allied subject.
Desirable
- Handling in-vitro (cancer cell lines) and in-vivo rodent cancer models, next-generation sequencing and data analysis, proteomics and patient-derived organoids; post-doctoral experience in the area preferred.
Selection & General Conditions
- Selection solely on interview performance. Screen-in/screen-out list tentatively on 15.10.2026.
- Indian citizenship; minimum age 18 years as on 07/10/2026. Posts purely temporary, co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA; gate closes 10:00 AM.
