Stage I – Written Test (qualifying in nature, for all positions): MCQ type covering the subject concerned at Graduation level, General Awareness, General Intelligence, Aptitude and General English. Maximum Marks: 50. Held on 19.08.2026 (Reporting Time 09:30 AM; Written Test 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM) at the Triple Helix Auditorium, CLRI.
Stage II – Personal Interview for candidates who qualify in the Written Test, held on 20.08.2026 & 21.08.2026. Exact time will be intimated in due course.
Note: Applicants who have qualified in NET/GATE or national level exams conducted by CSIR/DBT/DST/ICMR/IIT/IISc/IISER/UGC/ICAR etc. need not appear for the written test; they can directly attend the personal interview.
For the JRF position the upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC and women and physically handicapped candidates. For other positions, relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD/Women is 05 years and for OBC 03 years, or as per Govt. of India instructions.
