Central Silk Board (CSB), a statutory body established in 1948 under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, through its Institute for Seri-Biotechnological Research (CSB-ISBR), Carmelaram P.O, Kodathi, Bangalore - 560035 has invited applications for engagement of ONE Sericulture Assistant (SA) on contract basis (Notification No. CSB-ISBR/Admin/Seri-Asst/2026-2027 dated 01-10-2026).

- Number of Posts: 01 (Sericulture Assistant, Pre-Cocoon Sector)
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
- Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.21,000/- + HRA per month
- Required Qualification (any one): Three/Four years full-time degree in Sericulture; OR degree + PG Diploma in Sericulture; OR degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology/Botany/Life science) + PG Diploma in Sericulture; OR Four years bachelor degree in Agricultural Sciences; OR degree in Biological Sciences + one year experience in Sericultural project work.
- Desirable: Work experience in silkworm rearing & grainage (Pre-Cocoon sector).
- Engagement: Purely contractual for one year; no right of regularization.
