CSB-CSTRI Bangalore Project Assistant Walk-in Interview 2026
Central Silk Technological Research Institute (CSTRI), Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, CSB Complex, BTM Layout, Madivala, Bangalore has invited applications for ONE Project Assistant on contract basis for the project "Development and validation of the non-destructive identification of silk and silk blends using FibreSENSE" (Project Code: CYFO7055SIC). Notification No. CSB/CSTRI/JRF-PA/3(287)/2025-26-ES dated 21.09.2026.
Details
- Number of Posts: 01 (Project Assistant)
- Fellowship: Rs.20,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Age Limit: Upper age 30 years as on notification; relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Challenged candidates.
- Essential Qualification: Minimum Diploma in Textile Technology/Textile Engineering/Textile Chemistry/Silk Technology/Handloom or allied textile subjects.
- Desirable: B.Tech in Textile Technology or similar higher qualification.
- Project Duration: Up to May 2028, co-terminus with the project.
Interview Schedule
Walk-in Interview: 08.10.2026 at 10:00 AM. Candidates should report by 09:30 AM at CSTRI, CSB Complex, BTM Layout, Madivala, Bengaluru - 560068. No TA/DA will be provided.
