Eligibility
- Qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI); or MBA (Finance).
- One year of post-qualification experience in finance/accounts.
- Desirable: excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; working knowledge of technology-based skills on the computer and ability to work on ICT; experience with a Central or State Government ministry, department or autonomous body.
Scope of Work
- Examination of audited financial statements of multi-state cooperative societies and verification of adherence to accounting standards and the MSCS Act, 2002.
- Examination of inspection reports, cross-verification of findings with financial statements and assessment of statutory compliance.
- Assessment of financial health and sustainability using financial ratios, fund management and liquidity status.
- Identification of risks, financial irregularities or mismanagement, and recommendations for remedial action.
