Coffee Board Young Professional Walk-in Interview 2026 - 1 Post

The Coffee Research Sub-Station (CRSS), Chettalli, Coffee Board, Kodagu District, Karnataka invites applications through walk-in interview for engaging one (01) temporary Young Professional in the Division of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry under the project "Capacity Building Training Program on Best Agricultural Practices for Sustainable Coffee Cultivation for Coffee Growers of Kodagu Region, India under Coffee Development Plan (CDP)". (Ref: CB/RES/SS&AC/CRSS/2026-2027/44 dated 19.08.2026)

Educational Qualification

  • M.Sc. (Agri.) in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry OR M.Sc. (Horticulture) in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry OR M.Sc. in Chemistry.
  • Desirable: Relevant laboratory experience with computer knowledge.

Nature of Work

  • Conduct field work and organize capacity building programmes among coffee growers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
  • Work under the supervision of the Divisional Scientist to manage field experiments in coffee estates.
  • Organize training sessions; collect soil, leaf, and agrochemical samples and analyse them in the Soil Testing Laboratory.
  • Handle data entry, analyse experimental data, prepare technical reports, and support divisional operations.

Terms and Conditions

  • Engagement is purely on ad-hoc temporary basis under the CDP project up to 31/03/2027.
  • Service is liable for termination at any time on 24 hours notice.
  • Not entitled to HRA, CCA, DA, medical benefits or other Central Govt allowances.
  • Entitled to one day Casual Leave per month on emergency.
  • Accommodation provided at CRSS with reasonable licence fee and electricity charges.
  • Should report for duty within 7 days of receipt of appointment order.
  • Working days: Monday to Saturday.

Mode of Selection & How to Apply

Interested candidates may appear for the walk-in interview on 02 September 2026 between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM at the Office of the Joint Director of Research, Coffee Research Sub-Station, Chettalli, Kodagu District, Karnataka. Candidates must bring original marks cards, degree certificates, date of birth proof, work experience certificates/testimonials along with two copies of self-attested passport size photographs at the time of interview. The Coffee Board reserves the right to shortlist candidates for interview. Prescribed qualifications are the minimum and possessing them does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
