Educational Qualification & Experience
- MBBS degree from a recognized University.
- Post Graduate (PG) Medical Degree or PG Medical Diploma in the specified specialty from a recognized University.
- Post qualification experience of 13 years (for PG Degree holders) or 15 years (for PG Diploma holders) in the relevant field of specialization in a reputed hospital.
Emoluments
In addition to Basic Pay, other allowances and benefits like VDA, accommodation/HRA, Cafeteria Allowance @ 35% of Basic Pay, Non Practicing Allowance @ 20% of Basic Pay, Encashment of Earned Leave etc. would be admissible as per rules.

- Crucial date for determining qualification, experience and age: 31.08.2026.
- Employees working in Central/State Government/Semi-Govt. Autonomous Bodies/CPSEs must apply through proper channel and submit No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.
- All qualifications should be recognized and approved in India by the appropriate Statutory Authority/Competent Authority.

- A printout of the filled application along with recent passport size photograph and self-attested copies of educational/experience/age certificates shall be forwarded through proper channel to The Secretary, Cochin Port Authority, Willingdon Island, Cochin-682 009 so as to reach on or before 31.08.2026, superscribing as "Application to the post of Chief Medical Officer, CoPA".
