ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has invited applications for 01 post of Young Professional-I (YP-I) under the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) scheme, to be held as a Walk-in Interview at the ICAR-CMFRI Field Laboratory, KVK-Lakshadweep Campus, Kavaratti on 18 August 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:30 AM.

Educational Qualification: B.F.Sc/B.Sc in Aquaculture or other equivalent branch of Biological Science. Desirable: Experience in marine fisheries/seaweed farming/aquaculture; skilled in swimming given preference.

Age Limit (as on date of interview): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 45 years (relaxation as per rules).

Emoluments: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Fixed).

Nature of Appointment: Purely temporary basis for one year or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
