- P702 (Senior Project Associate): B.E./B.Tech + 3 years experience, OR Masters + 2 years experience; age up to 40
- P704: three-year Diploma in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering; age up to 35
- Knowledge of CAD/CAE, C/C++/Python for image processing and AI applications desirable
- Candidates who have already served 6 years in CSIR project positions are not eligible
