Directorate of Public Instruction, Chhattisgarh (लोक शिक्षण संचालनालय, छत्तीसगढ़) invites online applications for the recruitment of Teachers (E & T Cadre, Non-Gazetted Class-III) in Government schools of Chhattisgarh, under Advertisement No. ESTB-101/207/2025/131 dated 28.07.2026. Eligibility Criteria
- Age (as on 01.01.2026): Minimum 24 years and maximum 35 years. Relaxations: SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) of Chhattisgarh - up to 5 years; Women - up to 10 years; PwD - as per norms; Ex-Servicemen and Govt. servants - as per rules.
- Educational Qualification: Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed Diploma, OR Graduation (min 50%) with 1-year B.Ed, OR 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed / B.L.Ed (min 50%), OR Graduation with B.Ed (Special Education), AND must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the appropriate government (CTET/CGTET).
- Subject requirements: Graduation in the concerned subject at degree level (e.g., Hindi Literature, Sanskrit/Classics, English Literature, Mathematics with two of Physics/Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science/Statistics, Social Science with History/Geography/Commerce/Economics/Political Science, Agriculture, Science).
- Residency: Local resident certificate of Chhattisgarh state is required.
- Agriculture post: B.Ed is mandatory, but TET is not required (placed in Higher Secondary schools).

Rs.350/- (General), Rs.250/- (OBC), Rs.200/- (SC/ST/PwD) - payable online.

- Candidates can apply for only one subject (04 subjects mentioned; multiple subject applications are invalid).
- Document verification and other information will be communicated online through the department portal.
Selection Process
- Written recruitment examination conducted by CGSSB (CG Vyapam).
- Selection list validity: 6 months; waiting list validity: 9 months.
- Probation period of 3 years for directly recruited candidates.
- Reservation as per CG Public Service (Reservation for SC/ST/OBC) Act 1994; 30% posts reserved for women; 7% for PwD.
