CESS Hyderabad Faculty Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Professor: Ph.D in the concerned/allied discipline with at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per UGC 2018 guidelines; minimum 10 years of teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor and/or equivalent research experience with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates. Alternatively, an outstanding professional with Ph.D and ten years experience
- Assistant Professor: Master's degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned/allied subject and NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR or a Ph.D as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016; Ph.D from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 of QS/THE/ARWU also qualifies
- Minimum three publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals for Assistant Professor
- Publications in predatory or dubious journals and conference presentations will not be counted
- All positions require active participation in research projects, teaching for the Ph.D programme and supervision of scholars
- Reservation as per Government of India rules; category certificate in the prescribed Government of India format, not below Tahsildar or First Class Magistrate
