Full Description
The Central University of Odisha, Koraput has invited applications (Ref No. CUO/DJMC/ICSSR/RP/Major/Advt./2026-27/01 dated 11.08.2026) for recruitment of research personnel under the ICSSR Major Research Project titled "Enhancing Tribal and Small Holder Rural Livelihoods through Sustainable Agricultural Innovations: A Study of Farming Systems in KBK Districts of Odisha" (2025-2026). Positions: 1 Research Assistant and 2 Field Investigators, on a temporary/tenure basis. Applications by email on or before 31 August 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Research Assistant (01)
- Essential: Ph.D. / M.Phil. / NET / Post-graduate in any Social Science with minimum 55% marks.
- Skill in use of Data Science / GIS / SPSS / R.
Field Investigator (02)
- Essential: Graduate in a Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks.
- Proficiency (Reading/Writing/Speaking/Translation/Computer) in both English and Odia languages.
- Must be willing to travel for field work, including in rural/interior areas.
- Preference to candidates with a 4-year graduation programme.
Important Conditions
- Appointment is purely temporary, governed by norms for project staff under funded projects.
- May be terminated before expiry if work is unsatisfactory or on project completion, without notice.
- All original certificates must be produced for verification at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining.
