Eligibility
- Age: Maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2026 (not retired Govt officials).
- Qualification: Graduation with Certificate in ISL 'C' Level OR DISLI (Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpretation) recognized by RCI.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years active experience in ISL interpretation.
Terms of Reference
- Review/validate text-to-ISL gloss conversion; develop/standardize ISL glosses for domain vocabulary
- Verify linguistic correctness & naturalness of AI-generated ISL sequences
- Recommend improvements in ISL grammar, sentence structure, non-manual features
- Assist in preparation/validation of ISL datasets; Evaluate ISL avatar animations
- Participate in technical reviews; Advise on ISL standards & accessibility guidelines
Schedule
- Month 1-2: ISL gloss generation & dataset validation
- Month 3-10: Validation of AI-generated ISL animations, vocabulary expansion, technical reviews
- Month 11-12: Final evaluation, corrections, acceptance recommendations
