Central Bank of India Eligibility Criteria 2026

Retired Bank Employees: Retired Officers (including voluntarily retired) of any bank (PSU/RRB/Private Banks/Co-operative Banks) up to the rank of Senior Manager / equivalent; or retired clerks and equivalent of Central Bank of India who have passed JAIIB with a good track record. All applicants should have at least 3 years of rural banking experience. Maximum entry age: 64 years; maximum age for continuation: 65 years.
Young Candidates: Minimum qualification should be a graduate with computer knowledge (MS Office, email, Internet etc.); qualification like M.Sc.(IT), BE(IT), MCA, MBA will be given preference. Age group: 21–45 years at the time of appointment; maximum age for continuation: 60 years.
Geographical location: Candidates should be selected from the same District where they will be assigned to function; if suitable candidates are not available, adjoining districts may be considered. Candidates should be proficient in the local language and dialect (reading and writing). Under no circumstances will candidates from other states be selected.
Willingness: Applicants should be willing and in a position to visit villages in the district for supervision and other activities as and when assigned, and should have accommodation near the nodal branch (not outside the district).
Due diligence: KYC and CIBIL reports at the time of appointment; police verification before assignment of duty. Candidates with an adverse record or those terminated/dismissed from past service should not be considered.

Central Bank of India Job Details & Overview

Central Bank of India, Agricultural, Rural Development & Financial Inclusion Department, Regional Office Meerut, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as BC Supervisor (Business Correspondent Supervisor) on a contract basis for FY 2026-27.
Post: BC Supervisor – engagement on contract for the Meerut Region (number of supervisors engaged as per requirement and number of BC points).
Selection process: Interview.
Period of contract: Initially 12 months, subject to satisfactory annual performance review; renewable based on performance (monthly scoring matrix).
Last date for receipt of applications: 23.10.2026. Applications received after the stipulated date will not be entertained. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Application fee: Nil (no application fee prescribed).
How to apply: Eligible candidates must submit their application in the prescribed format (Annexure-3) by post/in person, superscribing the envelope “Application for the post of BC Supervisor on contract basis for FY-2026-27”, addressed to Regional Head, Central Bank of India, First Floor, Victoria Park, Jail Chungi, Meerut 250001 (U.P.).

Roles: Monitor BC agents through the BC dashboard, telephonic calls, online VC meetings and monthly visits to BC points; fix targets and monitor progress; ensure banking services in identified villages/SSAs; conduct financial literacy sessions and village meetings; ensure BCs remain active and comply with bank guidelines; report to the link branch and Regional Office.
