- RA-1: Ph.D. awarded or thesis submitted, plus selection through CSIR-UGC-NET (including Lectureship), GATE, GPAT or a national-level examination of DST/DBT/DAE/DOS/DRDO/MHRD/ICAR/ICMR/IIT/IISc/IISER
- SRF: postgraduate degree in basic science or graduate/postgraduate professional degree with NET/GATE/GPAT or national-level selection, or two years of research experience as JRF
- Field/Lab Assistant: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences/Agricultural Science/Biotechnology or allied subject, or Diploma in Engineering and Technology in these subjects
