Bank of India Credit Officer Recruitment 2026

Bank of India (BOI), a leading Public Sector Bank, has released notification Project No. 2026-27/01 dated 01.06.2026 for recruitment of 779 Credit Officers in the General Banking Officer (GBO) Stream across MMGS-II, MMGS-III, and SMGS-IV scales. This includes 475 unfilled vacancies carried forward from the previous recruitment cycle (Project 2025-26/01).

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01 June 2026)

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute with 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• 55% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
• CGPA/OGPA should be converted to percentage and indicated in the application.

Age Limit (as on 01 June 2026)

Age Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 yrs, OBC (Non-creamy layer) - 3 yrs, PwBD - 10 yrs, Ex-Servicemen - 5 yrs, Persons affected by 1984 riots - 5 yrs.

Experience Requirement

Candidates who were holding similar post in Bank of India in the past are NOT eligible.

Application Fee

Payment through online mode only. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Pay Scale

Plus DA, HRA, CCA, and other allowances as per bank rules.

Selection Process

1. Online Examination - Objective type with sections on English Language and Professional Knowledge.
2. Personal Interview - For candidates who qualify the online test. Weightage: 70% (Exam) + 30% (Interview).
3. Document Verification - Final verification of certificates and eligibility documents.

Note: If the online exam is not conducted, selection may be through interview alone based on qualification, experience, and suitability.

3. Click on "Credit Officer Recruitment 2026" notification link.
4. Register with valid email ID and mobile number.
5. Fill the online application form with personal, educational, and experience details.
6. Upload scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.
7. Pay the application fee online.
8. Submit and take printout of the application for future reference.

Note: Only ONE application per candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid application will be retained. Candidates should be ready to work anywhere in India.
