Educational Qualification (Mandatory): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution. Preferred Certifications: IC 38 from Insurance Institute of India; NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors); NISM Series XXI-A (Portfolio Management Services Distributors); NISM Series XIII (Common Derivatives).
Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 1 year of post qualification experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank as listed in the Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India only. Experience of less than six months as on 01.08.2026 shall not be considered. Experience in Clerical cadre will not be considered.
Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State they are applying for (reading, writing, speaking and understanding). Candidates shortlisted in the Online Examination will be required to qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT), failing which they will not be allowed to appear for Personal Interview. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard marksheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified local language of the applied State as one of the subjects will not be required to undergo the LPT.
Exclusions: Employees of Bank of Baroda who resigned from an officer-grade position or exited from the Bank while serving on contract within the last three years as on the cut-off date are not eligible. Employees working in Bank of Baroda in officer cadre or engaged on contract basis are not eligible.

* For Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, English shall be accepted as the Local Language only for candidates who have studied and passed English as one of the subjects from a school located in the respective State.
A candidate can apply for one State only. Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise.
JMG/S-I: 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920. One advance increment shall be granted for work experience of one (1) year or more as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank. Salary and other emoluments shall be governed by the industry-level bipartite settlement and Joint Note applicable to officers in the banking sector.
Probation: 12 months (1 year) of active service from the date of joining.
Service Bond: Selected candidates shall mandatorily execute a Service Bond to serve for a minimum period of 3 (three) years in the Bank after joining, or to pay the Bank an amount equivalent to three months' Gross Salary (subject to not exceeding Rs. 2 Lakhs) in case they leave the Bank before completion of three years of active service.
Selected candidates will be posted within the State for which they apply for the first 12 years of their service or upto their promotion to SMGS-IV Grade, whichever is earlier. Thereafter, they are liable to be posted at Bank's discretion to any branch/office in India.
Selection comprises online test / multiple rounds of test, psychometric test or any other test deemed suitable, followed by Interview(s).

English Language test is only qualifying in nature – marks secured in English section will not be considered for the final merit list. There is penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in all sections; no penalty for unanswered questions. Candidates shortlisted in the online test will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI). Minimum qualifying marks for GD/PI: 60% for General, 55% for Reserved Category. Combined final scores based on Online test and/or PI and/or GD.
Fee payable online irrespective of whether online test is conducted or not, and even if the candidate is shortlisted or not for the interview.
