Eligibility
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12–15 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a large educational institution, university or comparable organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in finalisation of accounts, MIS, budgeting, statutory compliance, audit and ERP-based accounting.
- Proven ability to independently manage the overall functioning of an Accounts & Finance section and lead a large team.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office, Tally ERP and other ERP-based financial management systems, and familiarity with AI-enabled tools relevant to accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Accounting, finalisation of books of accounts and consolidation of the Institute’s financial statements.
- Adherence to Indian Accounting Standards, statutory compliance, Income Tax, GST and other regulatory requirements for the Pilani Campus, with support to the central team at university level.
- Handling internal, statutory and tax audits, and ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
- Managing FCRA accounting, records and statutory compliance.
- Managing, reviewing, accounting and reporting of Government Grants and Alumni Funds.
- Internal controls and processes for bill passing relating to capex, projects and opex, including foreign payments.
- Fixed asset accounting, physical verification, insurance of assets and related reporting.
- Coordination with banks, statutory authorities and other stakeholders.
- Driving standardisation, process improvement, automation and digital transformation of finance operations.
