BITS Pilani PhD Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 (Collaborative with IIT Roorkee)
Applications are invited for the post of PhD Research Fellow (01) in a collaborative project between BITS-Pilani and IIT-Roorkee: "Physics-Informed Neuromorphic Systems for Cross-Layer Optimized Smart Sensing and Predictive Intelligence". Principal Investigators: Prof. Arnab Hazra (Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Eng., BITS-Pilani, Rajasthan) and Prof. Sourav Kumar Sasmal (Dept. of Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing, IIT Roorkee).

Eligibility
- M.E./M.Tech in Electronics Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Microelectronics, Nanoelectronics, or VLSI Design, OR M.Sc in Electronics, Computer Science, or Physics
- Minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university/institute
- Candidates with valid GATE/NET qualification preferred
Job Description
Carry out experimental/simulation work including data collection, materials synthesis, characterizations, device fabrication and testing; write research papers, attend conferences and file patents; involved in design of a prototype device. Selected candidate enrolled in the Ph.D. programme of the EEE Department, BITS Pilani.
