Eligibility
- Full-time postgraduate degree (MBA, MSW, MA or a similar degree in Marketing).
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in alumni relations, fundraising, donor stewardship, engagement programmes, member relations or large-scale community/programme management, with at least 5 years in a higher education institution or non-profit.
- Experience of leading and managing teams is essential; experience of running structured donor stewardship and reporting programmes is strongly preferred.
- Experience of working with international constituents, alumni chapters and senior volunteers is desirable.
- Demonstrated documentation expertise, especially MS Office; familiarity with CRM (Salesforce or similar) and event management tools.
- Should not be above 40 years of age as on 1 October 2026.

BITS Pilani invites applications for the position of Manager – Alumni Engagement and Stewarding to lead and scale its alumni engagement programmes and ensure world-class stewardship of donors at every gift level. The position reports to the Head, Alumni Relations, and works closely with the Dean/Associate Deans of Alumni Relations, BITSAA International, donors, students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the alumni engagement programme through in-person, virtual and hybrid initiatives across batches, regions (India and international), schools/programmes and affinity groups.
- Plan and oversee flagship initiatives such as mentorship, Practice School, placements, startups, academic instruction, career guidance and alumni-to-alumni programmes.
- Own the alumni stewardship calendar, including thank-you communications, tax receipts, gift agreement deliverables, named-fund reports and annual impact reports.
- Identify and cultivate volunteer leadership across chapters, class agents, mentors and advisory groups; train, coach and recognise volunteers.
- Work with the fundraising and donor reporting teams to move alumni and donors along the engagement-to-philanthropy continuum.
- Manage the alumni engagement and stewardship team with clear KPIs and high satisfaction ratings from alumni and donors.
- Track, analyse and report engagement and stewardship metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
- Represent BITS Pilani Alumni Relations at external forums, chapter meetings and partner convenings, with travel within India and internationally as required.
