Eligibility
- First class B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and related branches, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security or allied disciplines from a recognised university/institute.
- Candidates with GATE/NET qualification will be preferred.
- Upper age limit 28 years as on the date of the interview; age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates (OBC creamy-layer candidates are not eligible for relaxation).
- Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the Ph.D. programme of BITS Pilani, subject to the institute’s Ph.D. qualification process.

Job Description
- Work on encrypted traffic classification using FlowPic-style visual representations, data augmentation, contrastive learning and deep learning.
- Assist in dataset collection, PCAP preprocessing and generation of time-series/FlowPic representations.
- Implement CNN, SimCLR/contrastive-learning, CNN-LSTM-Attention and hybrid classification models.
- Perform model evaluation and benchmarking and comparison with existing traffic classification methods.
- Support explainability-related experiments using visual traffic representations.
