Eligibility
- Master’s degree with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant administrative experience in a university, higher education institution, research institution or government organisation after post-graduation, out of which at least four years should have been as Assistant Registrar or an equivalent post.
- Out of the total experience, a minimum of two years should be in a position carrying Pay Level 10 (7th CPC) or an equivalent pay scale.
- Desirable: currently serving as Deputy Registrar in a government or private university, higher education institution or research institution.
- Upper age limit 50 years.

Principal Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance with MoE, UGC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, NAD and other regulatory requirements, including statutory reporting and mandatory disclosures.
- Maintain records of land, buildings, properties, approvals, policies, committee notifications and official proceedings.
- Monitor UTSAAH, AISHE compliance, UGC e-Samadhan, Saksham, anti-ragging and SHe-Box portals; coordinate grievance redressal and statutory committees.
- Coordinate statutory body meetings such as the Senate and Examination Committee, including agendas, minutes, documentation and follow-up on decisions.
- Manage correspondence and liaison with regulatory authorities, government departments, universities and external agencies.
- Coordinate campus-wide data collection, verification, consolidation and timely submission of reports.
- Coordinate verification and issuance of degrees, diplomas and medals, including APAAR/ABC, NAD and DigiLocker compliance.
- Coordinate preparation, processing, approvals and documentation of institutional agreements and MoUs.
- Coordinate establishment, service matters, legal issues, taxation and financial procedures with concerned departments.
- Coordinate PF, gratuity, insurance and other employee benefits; coordinate convocation and institutional events; supervise non-teaching staff and outsourced personnel.
